"the ivory, sheffield, is definitely a must! The service was excellent, although had it been a busy night, it may have been a different story. The food was absolutely superb and complemented wonderfully by the classy pianist playing in the background. A hidden gem, particularly by the fact it is not the easiest place to find if you don't know the local area! Try this out, particularly the tiger prawns if you're a fish lover."

The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Very friendly and kowledgeable waiter made us feel completely at home, and both courses saitsfied greatly. at 68 pound for three courses and wine I found it reasonable fine dining in a lovely spot. Great for a night out with a partner.

" A fantastic little place for a nice quiet drink and then head into the restaurant (nicely seperated from the bar) and... The food is really fresh, really confidently cooked, and very very tasty. We arrived at 8 and it was a little quiet but it got really buzy and had a nice ambience, good music and the service was very friendly. Definitely will be coming back, a little gem."

"Ivory in Sheffield is a real find. Organic food, superbly cooked and presented, with friendly and informed service. The best steak I have had for a long time, perfectly cooked. Local cheeses were superb and excellently presented. For such a good venue, why was I the only person in the restaurant at lunchtime, with only two others eating in the bar? It is not cheap, but I can thoroughly recommend a visit here, in a city that has too few really excellent restaurants"

"It may seem OTT to socre 10 for every category, and I wouldn't normally do that, but I genuinely couldn't fault a thing. My wife and I went there with our son to celebrate his graduation. Even wth a bottle of champagne, and wine, the bill was very reasonable"
